Our local Elks club has donated land to our 4-H club for gardening purposes. This past month has been spent making the land ready for planting. We built 8 above ground planters boxes. Mile High donated a truck load of clean fill dirt which we had to move into each box. We gathered multiple times this month to complete this job and also beautify the front of our garden by planting bulbs. It was a lot of time and hard work, but we are almost ready to start planting! We are just letting the soil settle while our seedlings at home are growing. Soon the weather will be right to get them in the ground!
